Last year I was the COO of TensorSource, a company frontier labs pay for something very specific: the rare, ugly, edge-case data that decides whether a model survives contact with the real world. I spent my days packaging failure modes. And when we wanted agents working inside our own operations, our CTO said no.
He was right to. The pilots worked, the ROI was obvious, and nothing existed that could make an agent safe to trust with production: no gate in front of the irreversible actions, no undo behind the wrong ones, no record an auditor would accept. I watched a company whose entire business is model reliability refuse to let agents act, and I understood that the market wasn't missing a better model. It was missing the thing that makes yes safe to say. My CTO said no. Ripcord exists so the next one can say yes.
Before TensorSource I was on the founding team at Hyperbolic, the on-demand AI cloud, now Series B backed by General Catalyst and Lightspeed. I built its go-to-market from zero to $5M ARR in the first year and closed the partnerships with Hugging Face, OpenRouter and LM Arena. Before that I was the first associate product manager at Ava Labs, where I shipped the Avalanche app on Ledger hardware wallets and grew the enterprise business in Japan with partners like Toyota and Bandai Namco. Alongside, I advised the French Presidency and the Ministry of Armed Forces on national AI infrastructure, co-authoring a policy paper on European compute sovereignty.
I studied applied mathematics in Paris before master's degrees at Cornell Tech and the Technion, and the probability stuck: Ripcord's risk engine is log-odds scorecards, expected loss and CUSUM windows, the same mathematics that prices credit and catches money laundering. Not vibes.
A last thing about how this company behaves, because it is the product too. Every number we publish is sourced. We invent no history, we show our arithmetic, and we publish methodology before rankings. A company selling audit trails does not get to fudge its own.
Ripcord today is a working gateway, a design-partner program with room for a handful of teams, and me. I'm hiring a security-grade founding CTO; the recruiting pitch is this site and a working product. If any of this page sounds like your problem, or your job, I answer everything myself.
